For a business to be sustainable it must feed repeated purchases from customers.

Apart from selling a good quality product or service, another way of retaining customers or encouraging repeated purchase from customer is to develop a customer loyalty reward program. Everyone loves any form of reward.

Wildfire provides you with a system that can help you manage the loyalty points awarded to the each of your customers. Loyalty point earned by applied as discount on future sales or paid as cash to the customer. The business is at liberty to choose how the loyalty point will be computed and applied.

The first step to develop your loyalty reward is to set- up how the reward will be calculated.

  • Select Start Selling with Smart Shop Wildfire on the Dashboard or select Smart Shop Wildfire from the main menu.

  •  Click on Setup.
  • Enter percentage for customer loyalty per invoice –The set percentage is calculated on every invoice generated to your customer.
  • Enter percentage for customer referral per order – The set percentage is calculated on every confirmed order generated by referrals by your customer. (optional)
  • Enter Amount per point – The amount earned from loyalty or referral will be converted into points.
  • Enter Whatsapp number – Enter your business whatsapp number (Attach your country code) so that your customers can place orders via whatsapp. (optional)

The second step is to decide to enable loyalty reward on a customer’s invoice when recording the sale on the app.

  • Click on enter sales from on the dashboard.
  • Click on Add item to select the items your customer wishes to buy.
  • Select the customer name, payment type and date.
  • Turn on apply customer loyalty (This action means want to calculate loyalty reward on the invoice).
  • You can proceed to enter the amount paid.
  • Click on Sell.

After saving the transaction, the loyalty reward is automatically calculated on the saved invoice and the loyalty reward can now be applied on future invoices.

 

To view the reward balance of a customer

  • Click on Customers from the main menu and then click on the customer you want to view
  • Click on customer loyalty and click on the refresh icon to see the updated Reward balance.

 

Application of Customer Loyalty Reward

There are two ways of applying customer reward.

  • Customer reward can be applied when raising an invoice for a customer. This means that the reward points earned by the customer from referral and repeat purchase can be applied on the invoice to serve as discount.

Follow the steps below

  • Click on enter sales from on the dashboard.
  • Click on Add item to select the items your customer wishes to buy.
  • Select the customer name, payment type and date.
  • After a customer is selected, the accumulated loyalty value is displayed you can then proceed to change the loyalty value to be used on the invoice.
  • You can proceed to enter the balance paid.
  • Click on Sell.

The second method is pay up the loyalty point in cash.

  • Click on Customers from the main menu.
  • Select the customer you want to pay.
  • Select customer loyalty and click on the refresh icon to see the updated loyalty balance.
  • Enter amount to be paid and save.
